Law Students

Students have many ongoing projects and committees at all Boston law schools (contact the student representatives for details.)
Staff, Board & Student Contacts
In addition, students participate in the following Mass Chapter programs:
- Legal Observers
Law students are needed to act as legal observers at demonstrations.
Call the office: 617-227-7335 to set up a legal observers training at your school.
- Detention Working Group
Volunteers are needed to follow up on the June 29, 2005 report about the treatment of immigrant detainees in Massachusetts.
- Law Student Mentorship Lunches
We connect law students and Guild lawyers for lunch (paid for by the lawyer), to give students a chance to meet one-on-one with an activist attorney working in a legal area of interest to the student.
Email Urszula Masny-Latos or call at 617-227-7335 to get a volunteer form for attorneys and a request form for students.
- Street Law Clinic Project
Law students conduct workshops for community members on various legal topics, including landlord/tenant, workers' rights, and stop and search.
Email or 617-723-4330 to get involved.
- Chapter Membership
Law students can join the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild at a special rate. We encourage you to join to network and begin working with progressive attorneys through Guild membership today. To join, click here.
