Civil Disobedience

These workshops help political and community organizations prepare their members for civil disobedience actions and their legal consequences. Training topics include:

• pre-rally concerns
• what happens when you are arrested
• arraignments
• deals and depositions
• tips for legal observers

The Mass Chapter’s Civil Disobedience Defense Committee provides legal observers and attorneys for arraignments at no charge. In addition, we provide lawyers for post-arrest proceedings, with the fee negotiated with individual attorneys.
