    Stop and Search Clinics

The Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution prohibits "unreasonable" searches and seizures and requires police to have "probable cause" to search someone. What does this mean in the real world?

This workshop gives participants a better understanding of their constitutional rights when they have been stopped by the police. Participants discuss how they can respond to police searches and what they can do when their rights have been violated.

This is a popular workshop for teenagers!

Contact the Project at nlgmass-slc@igc.org or 617-723-4330 to schedule this clinic.
