These workshops help political and community organizations prepare their members for civil disobedience actions and their legal consequences. Training topics include:
- pre-rally concerns
- what happens when you are arrested
- arraignments
- deals and depositions
- tips for legal observers.
The Mass Chapter's Civil Disobedience Defense Committee provides legal observers and attorneys for arraignments at no charge. In addition, we provide lawyers for post-arrest proceedings, with the fee negotiated with individual attorneys.
